Itinerary:
There are more ways to go to Comares but these two are the most convenient.
The first way is the shortest and goes very quickly through the mountains with it (sharp) turns. This way is better to drive during day time.
The second way is a bit longer and goes a long way by highway. From there you still have to climb the mountain but this road is safer than the first way.
For both ways: from the airport Malaga follow the signs to Motril/Almería to the E-15 (A-7)
Way 1:
- At kilometer marker 17 turn lef tinto Comares.
- In Comares drive straight ahead towards the Ayuntamiento (cityhall). Next to it is the hotel.
Way 2:
- Take the A7 / E-15 towards Velez Malaga (junction 272).
- Onto the A356. Follow this road towards Colmenar and Casabermeja.
- After 6 kilometers (between kilometre 43 and 42) turn left towards Casabermeja and Comares. This road is the MA3113.
- Drive through the first and the second village (Triana and Benamargosa).
- Now you're on the MA3107.
- At your right is the village of Salto de negro.
- After 3,3 kilometers turn left towards Comares.
- In Comares go straight ahead toward the ayuntamiento (town hall). The hotel is next to the town hall in the main square.
